Are there "bad" Tarot cards?

"I have been a follower of the "card of the day" for about one and a half years now. It always has such a positive message. Are the any "bad" cards that would indicate a "bad" day? Not that I am looking for a "bad" day. I was just wondering. Personally, I have been through many trying times over the past 10 years. I find that the positive messages sent via the card of the day helps me to put the day in perspective no matter how I feel that morning. Do you think I would get more out of it if I had my own deck and pulled a card for myself each day? I love your website .......... you guys are great!!!!!!!! Best regards." Louise

Hello Louise! Thank you very much for the lovely things you said about our site. It's always great to get feedback that tells us Angel Paths makes a difference for people (thanks also to everybody else who emails us).

Yes, there are cards which will indicate a difficult day ahead, but I've always taken the attitude that if we can approach the day knowing that there may be obstacles we have the opportunity to develop a strategy to deal with those things.

For instance, today's card is that of Death - for some people this will be therefore a day of changes which they do not necessarily welcome into their lives. However hopefully they will be able to convert what could be disruptive or distressing events into life changes which they attempt to welcome and embrace. However, for the majority of us, the chances are that a day ruled by Death will be one in which we let go of the things that no longer serve us well - and clear the way for the next stage in our journey.

I know that a lot of people do decide to draw their personal card of the day and often they use the interpretations on the Angel Paths site to apply to themselves. As to how well this works, perhaps people who do it would like to feedback to you their experiences. If you've got anything to say on this subject please email us and we'll use your comments for the newsletter. Thank you!
